Missouri Ice Hockey
Officials Association
The Missouri Ice Hockey Officials Association (MIHOA) supplies all on ice officials for all USAH sanctioned events held under the
jurisdiction of Missouri Hockey.  In the paragraphs below you will find the appropriate procedures to be followed to secure officials for
your teams/clubs/leagues or tournaments games.
Missouri Hockey Youth Division
For all Missouri Hockey YD Travel league games and all Missouri Hockey Gateway Recreational league games, YD is responsible for
submitting a complete schedule of games to MIHOA for the purpose of securing officials.  This includes preseason declaration
festivals, end of year league playoffs and state championship tournaments.

YD member clubs who have CSDHL teams are responsible for submitting schedules of the teams home games that they will need
officials for during the course of the regular season in addition to any playoffs that may occur.

YD member clubs who have tier 1 teams are responsible for submitting schedules of the teams home games that they will need
officials for during the course of the regular season in addition to any playoffs that may occur

YD member clubs teams who play exhibition games will need to follow the following steps in order to secure officials

1.  The President or Vice President of the club must make a request to MIHOA to activate an online account for use in requesting
officials for games.  This can be done electronically thru our online scheduling web site at the following url:
http://www.oswebs.com/mihoa/league or the url listed in step 2 below

2.  In addition to the request to activate the online account, contact information will be required for the club/team treasurer so that
access to the online account can be set up for the sending of the monthly invoices.  Any other club personnel who would need to have
access can be requested by using the following url :
http://www.oswebs.com/mihoa/organizations/dir.asp?dir=pwdreq

3.  Teams need to be registered with the Mo Hockey Registrar who will in turn send this information to MIHOA.  Once this verification of
registration is provided by the Mo Hockey Registrar, team access can be set up.  The minimum amount of information needed by the
Mo Hockey registrar is the USAH Official Team Registration/Roster.  The information required on this form is the name of the club, the
division and level of the team and the name of the head coach.  This form can be formulated from the cybersport software program that
your club registrar has and can be electronically transmitted to the
Mo Hockey registrar.  A list of clubs and teams will be posted on the
MIHOA web site along with the date that MIHOA got the verification of the registration from the Mo Hockey Registrar.
Mid States Club Hockey Association and Mississippi Valley Club Hockey Association
Each of the above listed leagues will submit schedules for all league and playoff games to MIHOA for the purpose of securing officials.

Should either of the above listed leagues members clubs teams wish to secure officials for any exhibition games, they shall use the
same procedure as outlined above to gain access to the MIHOA online scheduling system.

Any team that wishes to play exhibition games shall use the same procedure as outlined above to gain access to the MIHOA online
scheduling system to secure officials
Facility Run Adult Leagues and Womens Adult Teams
Facilities that run Adult leagues must contact the Missouri Hockey registrar.  Once the registrar notifies MIHOA that the league and
teams are properly registered, MIHOA will furnish on ice officials for games.  The leagues shall supply game schedules for all regular
season games and any playoffs that might occur.

Womens adult teams shall contact the
Womens registrar.  Once the registrar notifies MIHOA that the team is properly registered,
MIHOA will furnish officials for all games including playoffs.  It is the responsibility of the team(s) to contact MIHOA (as outlined above) to
secure officials for their games.  It is the responsibility of each individual team to supply MIHOA with the game schedules for all home
games that the team will require officials for.  This would include all playoff games also.
Spring/Summer Leagues and Teams
All Spring/Summer leagues and teams must be properly registered prior to getting officials for any games.  Spring/Summer leagues
and teams may set up access to the MIHOA online scheduling site as outlined above.  The
Missouri Hockey registrar must notify MIHOA
that the league/team is registered prior to officials being supplied for any games.  The league/team is responsible for submitting a
schedule of games to MIHOA that will require officials.
Tournaments
All tournaments must be properly registered prior to the start of the event.  There is an application that must be filed with the local
affiliate along with the tournament rules and procedures.  A fee must also be paid for the sanctioning of a tournament. The fee is a total
of $100 and must be paid with two (2) checks.  One $50 check payable to USAH and one $50 check payable to Missouri Hockey.   The
application can be found
here and along with the checks, must be submitted to the Missouri Hockey registrar.  The Tournament Director
is responsible for submitting the schedule of games for all games that will need on ice officials along with complete tournament rules
